For the 2010 PODER abc* Business Awards, Tomas Regalado, mayor of the City of Miami, gave the welcome and introductory remarks.  Ernesto Cordero, Secretary of the Treasury of Mexico, then spoke about Mexico, followed by a talk by John King, host of CNN’s "John King USA".

During dinner, guests witnessed a performance by vocalist Manuela Mejia, and the evening concluded with a talk by Garry Kasparov, former world chess champion, on "Being one step ahead".
